Cash Truck is Quickspin's take on the apocalypse, where a truck stuffed with cash rolls through the desert while a gang of scrappy raiders chases it down. Hop into the passenger seat and help yourself to whatever falls off the back.
Our focus is always RTP, how much of your bets a game theoretically pays back over time. Check out which casinos currently offer the highest average payback across all games:

The gap between 90% and 96% might not look huge on paper, but over time it adds up to real money staying in your pocket instead of the casino's.
How the base game works
There are no traditional paylines here. Cash Truck plays on a 5-reel grid that starts at a height of 4 rows and can grow up to 7. Every win clears the winning symbols, new ones tumble down, and three random spots unlock in the locked area above the grid.
The more tumbles in a row, the bigger the grid gets, and once fully expanded you win across a massive 78,125 ways, quite the upgrade from the modest 20 ways the game starts with.
Land exactly two Bonus Scatters once the tumbles settle and you trigger a Second Chance. The play area clears except for the two scatters, and fresh symbols drop in for another shot at the bonus. Bets range from CA$0.20 to CA$100.
The Truck Raider Bonus
Land three or more Bonus Scatters and the Truck Raider Bonus kicks in, the real reason to play this game. It opens with 3 spins and three Cash Stack symbols placed randomly, each carrying its own multiplier value. New symbols that land stick in place and reset the spin counter back to 3. Special symbols can seriously ramp up the payout:
Expander, unlocks three new positions
Booster, adds its value to every other symbol on the grid
Super Booster, does the same thing on every spin for the rest of the round
Grabber, pulls the value of every other symbol into itself
Super Grabber, the same trick but on every spin for the rest of the round
Doubler, doubles its own value every time the spin counter resets
Land a Doubler early and let it double a few times in a row, and the value can climb fast, a bit like saving a single dollar and doubling it every day for a month. Hit the win cap of 25,000x your bet and the round ends instantly through Target Eliminated, paying out the full amount.
Buying your way into the bonus
Do not want to wait for the scatters to line up? You can buy a ticket into the Truck Raider Bonus. Paying 90 times your bet guarantees at least three scatters, while 350 times gets you the same guarantee plus a Doubler on the second spin. The feature is not available at every operator.
Symbols and the wild
Cash Truck runs 11 paying symbols across three tiers. Low paying card values top out at 0.6x your bet, mid tier symbols such as bats, blades, jerrycans and the roughneck characters pay between 0.8x and 2x, while the top symbol pays 5x for five of a kind. The wild can land anywhere, substitutes for everything except the scatter, and pays the same as the top symbol.
How many spins do you get?
Wondering how far your bankroll stretches depending on which RTP version you are spinning on? We have crunched the numbers for you right here:
If you start playing with $200 and bet $1 per spin, we can compare how many spins you get depending on the payout level.
At the highest level of 96%, you theoretically lose 4.0% of your bet per spin, which equals $0.04 per spin. That gives you approximately 5 000 spins before your budget runs out.
At a lower payout level of 94%, the theoretical loss is 6.0%, which is $0.06 per spin. That means you can spin approximately 3 333 times before the money runs out.
The difference is 1 667 spins between these levels – quite a significant difference when you think about it!
Max win, volatility and hit frequency
Cash Truck is rated high volatility, and you will notice it if you spin for a while without hitting the bonus. The base game hit frequency sits at 25.85%, so wins of some kind actually show up fairly often even if they are rarely massive. The real money is in the bonus round, where the 25,000x max win is waiting for anyone lucky enough to land a Doubler.
The studio behind it, Quickspin
Quickspin built Cash Truck, and the studio has made a name for itself with sharp visuals and well thought out bonus rounds. Based in Stockholm, Quickspin gave us classics like Big Bad Wolf and Sticky Bandits, and Cash Truck proves they can still put together a genuinely nasty high volatility slot.
